Alabama didn’t just walk out of Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday night with an Iron Bowl victory, they walked out with a new addition to the future of their offensive line.
Shortly after the Crimson Tide’s 27–20 win over Auburn on Saturday night, junior college offensive lineman Tyrell Miller announced his commitment to Alabama, giving the Tide another major building block for their 2026 recruiting class.
Miller, who plays at the College of San Mateo in California, becomes the latest prospect to join Kalen DeBoer’s early 2026 haul.

His wingspan measures 83.5 inches, a trait that makes him especially intriguing for a program that values length and physicality in its tackles. He could be a HUGE asset for the Alabama Crimson Tide's offensive line.
The commitment comes on the heels of Miller’s official visit to Tuscaloosa the previous weekend, when he was in attendance for Alabama’s matchup against Eastern Illinois.
The trip clearly made an impression, as the Tide were able to lock in his pledge just days later.
Sources have since confirmed the timing of the visit and the staff’s high interest in the San Mateo standout.

He becomes the fourth offensive lineman committed in the cycle, joining a talented group that already includes four-star prospects Chris Booker and Jared Doughty, both from the Atlanta area, as well as three-star lineman Bear Fretwell out of Brooklet, Georgia.
Together, these guys give the Tide a strong early group up front and sets the stage for further additions as the class continues to develop.
For Alabama, securing a physically gifted and college ready lineman this early in the cycle is a significant win.

The Iron Bowl may have delivered drama on the field, but it also sparked a big recruiting moment.
And for a program that prides itself on dominating the line of scrimmage, adding a player like Miller is exactly the kind of momentum Alabama wants heading into the offseason.
