Jennifer loves TV, especially science fiction. She also loves late-night talk shows, due to her insomnia. Alien: Earth is definitely one of her favorite shows, and she jumps on any chance she gets to write about it. Even on her days off, she will claim an Alien Earth article if one is available.
Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon are two of her favorite late-night hosts, and Conan O'Brien before he left his show.
Her Alien: Earth coverage for Screen Rant is by far the work that she is most proud of so far.
She began her career as an editor in 2014. She was initially a finance editor, but her passion for pop culture convinced her to transition into entertainment journalism.
During her off time, she loves to binge-watch cooking shows such as Kitchen Nightmares. Jennifer also loves spending time with her daughter and cherishes every moment of it.

FBI's Isobel (Alana De La Garza) is gearing up for a major transition in an upcoming episode of the popular series, and her next steps raise big questions for the team’s future.
In December 1's FBI episode titled Fadeaway, Isobel prepares to leave her current role and become the new ADIC (assistant director in charge). The opportunity emerged after she went back to work after the life-threatening situation she found herself in last season. However, before she can move on, she needs to choose the person who will become the team's next Special Agent in Charge.
During an interview with TV Insider, De La Garza stated that her character definitely earned her promotion. Isobel spent years putting her blood, sweat, and tears into her career, and she is finally getting the appreciation that she deserved. And, after all the pain she endured last season, this transition will be good for her.
I think the ADIC role for her is a sign that all her hard work and dedication to the job over the years has paid off. Since the beginning of this season, Isobel has been mentally wrestling with what is next for her so being offered this role was a great way for her to assess her next steps at the bureau.
After the idea of Isobel potentially taking on a new position first came up in FBI season 8, ADIC Ropac (Clark Carmichael) told her that she would need to choose her own replacement. Initially, she considered Jubal (Jeremy Sisto), but that suggestion didn’t land well. Ropac said that Jubal taking over could cause a lot of problems. Although he covered for her during her recovery, management felt he was best suited to remain in his current role.
When De La Garza was asked if her character would try to change everyone's mind about him, she revealed that Isobel would end up doing what's best for her team. And, because of that, she believes that she will fight for Jubal as she wouldn't have suggested him if she didn't think he would be a good fit. However, she did admit that she could see why the higher-ups wouldn't want him to move up the chain.
Isobel always acts in the interest of what is best. I don’t think she would have thrown Jubal’s name in the ring if she didn’t think he’d be the right fit. But, I also think she knew going into it that Jubal — between suspensions and conflicts — may not be a favorite for the job.
She is looking for someone who is strong and determined and who acts in the best interest of the bureau — no matter the circumstances.
FBI releases new episodes on Mondays at 9:00 PM ET and 6:00 PM PT on CBS.
