The Oregon Ducks won their 11th game of the season on Saturday afternoon in Seattle, downing the Washington Huskies, 26-14, and furthering their claim as the top team on the West Coast in the process. In addition to that, the Ducks also clinched their spot in the College Football Playoff, finishing the regular season with an 11-1 record, one of the best in the nation.
Because of the Ohio State Buckeyes' win over the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday morning, the Ducks will not be making a trip to Indianapolis for the Big Ten Championship Game later this week, which means they are off until the first round of the playoff, a game that they are likely to host at Autzen Stadium.

So, assuming that the Ducks finish somewhere in the 5-7 range and host a game at Autzen Stadium on Dec. 19 or Dec. 20, who might they end up facing? Well, there are many answers to that question based on what happens over the next week during conference championship games. However, it feels safe to say that Oregon will host a No. 10, No. 11, or No. 12 seed. Who might that be? Here's a look at potential teams to know:
Virginia Cavaliers
Virginia, currently No. 18 in the CFP rankings, is in the ACC title game against Duke this coming week, meaning they would clinch a spot as one of the top-five highest-ranked conference title winners with a victory. They would still be ranked near the bottom, though, likely around at No. 11 or No. 12.

Tulane, currently No. 24 in the CFP rankings, is in the American Conference Championship this coming week against North Texas, meaning they could snag one of the automatic qualifier spots for conference champions with a win, grabbing a No. 12 seed in all likelihood.
North Texas Mean Green
North Texas, currently unranked in the CFP rankings, is in the American Conference Championship this coming week against Tulane, meaning they could snag one of the automatic qualifier spots for conference champions with a win, grabbing a No. 12 seed in all likelihood.
James Madison Dukes
There's a chance that Duke beats Virginia in the ACC Title Game, which would likely mean that the ACC would miss out on the playoff, since the American Conference champion would be ranked higher than an 8-5 Duke team. This could leave the door open for multiple Group of 6 teams getting into the playoff, which would give James Madison an opportunity to get in as an at-large.

UNLV, currently unranked in the CFP rankings, is in the Mountain West Conference Championship this coming week against Boise State, meaning they could snag one of the automatic qualifier spots for conference champions with a win, grabbing a No. 12 seed in all likelihood.
Boise State Broncos
Boise State, currently unranked in the CFP rankings, is in the Mountain West Conference Championship this coming week against UNLV, meaning they could snag one of the automatic qualifier spots for conference champions with a win, grabbing a No. 12 seed in all likelihood.
Oklahoma Sooners
Oklahoma, currently ranked No. 8 in the CFP rankings, will miss out on the SEC championship, but is likely to grab one of the at-large bids, potentially putting them at a No. 9 or No. 10 seed.

Alabama, currently ranked No. 10 in the CFP rankings, faces Georgia in the SEC Championship Game this weekend, and with a win, they will secure their spot in the playoff. However, there's a question as to how high the committee would rank them as a 10-2 SEC champion. It will probably be out of reach for the Ducks to face them, but they could stay at No. 10, with Oregon at No. 7.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Notre Dame, currently ranked No. 9 in the CFP rankings, will be an interesting team to watch this coming week when the polls come out. Without a conference title game to play in, they will be at the mercy of the committee, and many project them to hover around that nine or 10 seed, making them a potential opponent for the Ducks.

Miami, currently ranked No. 12 in the CFP rankings, will miss out on the ACC Championship, but is potentially going to grab one of the at-large bids, putting them at a No. 9 or No. 10 seed.
BYU Cougars
The BYU Cougars have a chance to upset the Texas Tech Red Raiders in the Big 12 Championship, which would get them into the field as an at-large bid, but likely lower in the rankings, around No. 10 or No. 11.
