According to a report by Justin Hokanson of On3/Rivals, Golesh has signed a six-year deal that is worth $7.4 million per year. His incentives based on performance are hefty as well, with Golesh set to earn an additional $1.5 million for a nine-win season, with total yearly compensation rising to over $12 million should he lead the Tigers to a 12-win season.

Auburn has also appeared in just one bowl game over the last four seasons. Auburn Athletic John Cohen has hired Golesh to right the ship and is willing to deliver a heavy payday in exchange for on-field success. Golesh understands the tradition Auburn is known for, and hopes to return the program to its former glory.
"Auburn Football is one of the proudest, most tradition-rich programs in all of college football and my family and I could not be more excited to join the Auburn Family," Golesh said Sunday. "This will be a player-driven program, and no one will outwork our staff. Auburn has won, can win and will win championships. Let’s get to work.”
Auburn is one of five SEC programs to hire its next head coach on Sunday, joining Florida, Arkansas, LSU, and Ole Miss. Auburn will officially introduce Golesh on Monday morning with a press conference set for 11 a.m. CT.
