Kyren Williams left Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers in the second quarter after suffering an ankle injury in the red zone. He was taken to the locker room before halftime but after the break, he was back on the field for the Rams’ opening drive.

Williams remained in the game and continued to split time with Blake Corum the rest of the day, which was a good sign for his status moving forward. After the Rams’ 31-28 loss, Williams shared an update with reporters in the locker room and said he’ll be good to go for next week against the Cardinals.

He also said that scar tissue in his ankle from a previous injury helped him play through this one, which he's thankful for.

The Rams visit the Cardinals next Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET in a critical bounce-back spot after losing Sunday's game to the Panthers.
