Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones is scheduled to play today, Nov. 30, against the Houston Texans despite a fractured fibula.

Jones didn't appear to fully mobile late last week against the Kansas City Chiefs as the Colts had four consecutive 3-and-out drives in an overtime loss. He was limited during practice leading up to today's game.

However, coach Shane Steichen said Friday that Jones should have no limitations while battling one of the NFL's best defenses, which sacked Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen eight times last weekend.

“Talking to our trainers, doctors and Daniel himself, we’d never put him out there if we thought something could go wrong there. He’s cleared to play and good to go, and he wants to play,” Steichen said. “He’s ready to go. He’s like, ‘I’m playing.’ We rely on the medical staff, and they said he’s good to go. He wants to play.”

Jones has completed 69.1% of his passes for 2,840 yards, 17 touchdowns and 7 interceptions this season, and has rushed for 5 TDs.
