Laremy Tunsil deserves to be at the Pro Bowl this year
As bad as the Commanders have been this season, Tunsil has shown up as a bright spot on the roster every week, and is likely the only player that should be in the Pro Bowl for Washington. The 2026 Pro Bowl Games will be taking place during the week of the Super Bowl on February 3rd in San Francisco, California. Voting has officially opened for fans to make their claims for top players on their team until December 15th.
There’s no doubt it’s been a nightmare season for the Commanders, but trading for Tunsil was the best offseason move by Adam Peters, and he deserves every vote he gets. Tunsil is a five-time Pro Bowler, and it should be six if fans get active on voting, as they’ve shown in the past.

[F]or now, the main goal is to keep dominating every week, and earn the right to his sixth Pro Bowl, which you can help with by voting on NFL.com or by posting on X with his first and last name and the hashtag listed in the tweet above.

Can the Commanders run the ball on the Broncos?
The Broncos have one of the best front sevens on defense in the league, and it shows in the run game. They’re third in the league when it comes to yards allowed on the ground and just 88 per game. The Commanders have been in a drought when it comes to running the ball, but they did get a surge against the Miami Dolphins from Chris Rodriguez Jr.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementWe’ve seen Rodriguez Jr. emerge as the top carrier over the last few weeks, and against the Dolphins, he was the leading rusher with 15 carries for 79 yards. Don’t be surprised if offensive Kliff Kingsbury continues to feed the hot hand against the Broncos. This is also a test for the offensive line to see if they can block Nik Bonitto, John Franklin-Myers, and Zach Allen.

Commanders Tipped to Replace Jayden Daniels’ Mentor from Within
Although Pritchard won’t leave before Week 13’s game against the Denver Broncos, his departure will still rate as a blow to Daniels. The latter has dealt with multiple injuries during his second campaign in the NFL, including a dislocated elbow, but Daniels remains the future of the Commanders. Perhaps that’s why the team is being tipped to turn to a familiar face as his new position coach.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThis prediction comes from Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic, who “would think this means David Blough moves up to be the Commanders’ new QBs coach. Blough retired from playing in 2024 and became Washington’s assistant QBs coach.”
Blough will get a useful audition as an important voice in Daniels’ development. Blough knows what it takes to play the position, having spent time with the Detroit Lions, Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings, after entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent signed by the Cleveland Browns back in 2019.
The next stage of Daniels’ development will need to be managed carefully, so a familiar face with Blough’s experience can be invaluable once Pritchard officially takes the reins at Palo Alto.

Roob’s Observations after total Eagles meltdown at home against Bears
This team is a mess.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementI could write that 10 times and there ya go, you’d have your 10 instant observations.
I’m not going to say this season will turn into a repeat of 2023, but right now it sure feels like 2023.
Bears 24, Eagles 15. And it took a touchdown with three minutes left just to get the Eagles into double figures. A total meltdown at home against a conference rival on the heels of a blown 21-point lead against a division rival.
It just doesn’t get a whole lot worse than that.
The Bears came into the Linc and just trampled the Eagles, and at times it seemed like the Eagles didn’t even feel like fighting back.
Sunday was bad. Friday was bad. And now the Eagles are 8-4 with their second ugly two-game losing streak this year and a road game against the Chargers in L.A. looming a week from Monday.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementI get that it was cold and I get that it was windy and it has been the last few weeks, but we’re just not seeing the Jalen Hurts that we need to see right now, and it’s getting concerning.
I’m really tempted to say this is the worst offense I’ve ever seen, but I was around for 1998, when the Eagles – with play callers Dana Bible and then Bill Musgrave – scored 17 touchdowns all year, scored 17 or fewer points in 15 of 16 games and went 3-13 with three quarterbacks winning one game apiece (Koy Detmer, Bobby Hoying, Rodney Peete). But this is close. Holy crap is this bad. Nick Sirianni refuses to make a change at play caller and this is what you get. Since the bye week, they’ve now scored 10, 16, 21 and 15 points, and since Week 5 the offense has surpassed 21 points only against the Giants two weeks before they fired their head coach and a month before they fired their defensive coordinator. They’re not just bad. They’re getting worse, and that’s what’s most concerning. The passing game looks like these guys never practiced together in their lives. The offensive line is a shadow of its former self. And the play calling, I swear, it looks like Kevin Patullo is just randomly picking plays out of a hat. And not good plays.
Vic Fangio is a genius and there’s nobody you’d rather have calling defensive plays, but this went way beyond coaching. This had everything to do with a defense that just was unable to match the Bears’ physicality. They came into town and just manhandled the Eagles on both sides of the ball. You don’t expect to see this defense get pushed around like this, but here we are. You can’t give up 281 rushing yards in your own building and call yourself a Super Bowl contender. You just can’t. The Bears’ 281 rushing yards are the 8th-most ever against the Eagles and the most in 52 years, since the Cowboys had 286 at Texas Stadium in 1973. The most in Philly since the Packers had 294 in 1962. That was 63 years ago. Just yikes.
It’s hard to play defense when the offense isn’t giving the team a chance to win, and when you go out there and you know you have to hold the other team to 17 or 14 or 10 points, that’s a tough place to be. I just think mentally it’s very tough to play your best when you know you have to be perfect and there’s no margin for error. And I wonder if we’re seeing some of that with this defense. Even subconsciously, you’re out there and the offense is punting series after series and scoring 15 points per game and you have to go back out there after two or three minutes and get another stop, that’s rough. For much of the year, especially lately, the defense has carried this team and I just wonder how much of what we saw Friday was the defense just feeling hopeless. And playing like it.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisement[I]n the bigger picture the Cowboys have won three straight after a 3-5-1 start, and they just look like a much better team right now on both sides of the ball. And after watching both teams over the last couple weeks, it’s hard to have faith in the Eagles if they wind up facing the Cowboys in the postseason.

Broncos should dominate in DC
[W]hile this matchup should not be the tough competition it seemed it would be at the start of the season, it still serves as the perfect tool-sharpening game for Bo Nix and the offense, a chance to pad those sack stats for the defense and a great time to get Pat Surtain back into game shape. All before the playoffs push.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementI am going to this game and praying the rain does not fall but rather Broncos touchdowns come raining down.
I have no doubt that we will win convincingly, and it will not require heroics but full team effort humming in sync. I think this could be a beautiful win to witness. The win over KC was a beautiful win.
THIS 2025 team is only 6 points away from a perfect record. There are probably many players beyond what our coaches would consider hiring that would desire to play for the Denver Broncos.
There is no doubt that this defense thrives upon not needing to rush more than four on most snaps just because we almost always have at least two of those three D-line players on every defensive snap. I am in agreement with those that wish to re-sign [Jonathan Franklin Meyers]. The three recent signings are the righteous answers that this ownership has continually chosen to make.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementMarcus [Mariota] has survived in the NFL despite his limitations. He is going to regret that truth on Sunday night in Northwest Stadium, Landover, Maryland. Six sacks and 25 pressures. This defense is historic mostly because of [Nik Bonitto, Jonathan Cooper, John Franklin Myers, Zach Allen and Malcolm Roach].
