Around Major League Baseball, there have obviously been multiple instances where players have been linked to steroid usage.
Not all players have admitted to taking them, while others have been caught red-handed by failing drug tests and have come out after to admit it.

Two of those players are Alex Rodriguez, who was most known for his days with the New York Yankees, and former Pittsburgh Pirates star Barry Bonds. Bonds is certainly more well-regarded in the San Francisco Giants organization, but he was also a very good player during his time in Pittsburgh.
When speaking about the PED situation, as well as the Hall of Fame in general, Rodriguez had a lot of interesting points to make. He even had a comment about Bonds, stating that the day he came out of his mother’s womb, he was a Hall of Famer.
“All of this stuff you're talking about was under Bud Selig's watch,” Rodriguez said, per FOX. “And the fact that those two guys are not in, but somehow Bud Selig is in the Hall of Fame, that to me feels like there's a little bit of hypocrisy around that.”

He was a Hall of Famer at Arizona State. He was a Hall of Famer for the Pittsburgh Pirates. If you take a 50% tax on PEDs for those two guys, they are still Hall of Famers. If you take 50% of their home runs and RBIs or do whatever tax you do like in the U.S. government, I still think they are first-ballot Hall of Famers.”
Whenever we see stats with Barry Bonds, it almost feels like they're made up.
I’m in the belief that if anybody could play like Bonds, they should all take steroids. He was the best player who ever played this game, in my opinion. Does that mean he should be in the Hall of Fame if he took steroids?
I'm not sure, but I’d vote for him.
