1. Brock Purdy, QB, 49ers

Purdy enters this matchup looking for a rebound performance after his toughest outing of the season. Still, the 49ers have been significantly more productive offensively on the road, averaging 25.4 points per game, and Purdy’s efficiency in away games has been a major reason why. If he settles in early and limits mistakes, San Francisco’s offense can regain its rhythm.

2. Christian McCaffrey, RB, 49ers

The engine of the offense. McCaffrey faces a Browns defense that has struggled on the road but not at home, if CMC can carve up this defense at home, it's going to be a long night for the Browns. Expect heavy volume, both as a runner and receiver, as San Francisco looks to set the tone and control the tempo.

3. Ricky Pearsall, WR, 49ers

Pearsall’s increased usage has made him a key pivot in the passing attack while Brandon Aiyuk remains out. Cleveland’s defense occasionally allows chunk plays over the middle, and Pearsall has become a trusted target in those exact situations. His ability to sustain drives could be pivotal.

4. George Kittle, TE, 49ers

Kittle’s blocking has been phenomenal, and he’ll need another strong outing against a Browns front that thrives on disruption. But don’t overlook his explosive upside as a receiver, Cleveland has struggled defending athletic tight ends. Kittle only needs a couple of opportunities to tilt the game.

5. Jerome Ford, RB, Browns

If Cleveland wants to avoid an early deficit, Ford has to establish the run. The Browns score 18.6 points per game at home, and Ford is at his best when he’s wearing down defenses. His production will dictate how often Cleveland can keep the ball out of Purdy’s hands.

6. Jerry Jeudy, WR, Browns

Jeudy immediately becomes one of the most dangerous matchup pieces in this game. His route-running precision will test San Francisco’s secondary, especially because they are so young. If Cleveland falls behind or needs explosive plays, Jeudy is likely the first read. He’s also their best threat to challenge open grass against zone coverage.

7. David Njoku, TE, Browns

Njoku’s status for Sunday is still uncertain, and even if he suits up, the Browns aren’t expected to throw him into a full workload right away. He may not be the usual show-stopping, matchup-breaking presence he typically is, but he’s still worth monitoring. If active, expect Njoku to rotate in gradually, easing back into the offense with select red-zone looks and key third-down opportunities. His snaps may be limited, but his impact doesn’t have to be.
