One of Travis’ close friends, Adam Chapman, said he ‘doesn’t know where to begin’.
‘An absolute shock, you’re no longer here with us, Travis,’ Adam wrote on Facebook.
‘Growing up with you, from scraped knees to our recent late-night talks about our plans for the future, you’ve shaped me more than you could ever know.
‘Losing you at 25 doesn’t feel real to me. I’ll carry your memory forward till the day I die, until we meet again.’
Another friend recalled how he met Travis while seeing Metallica play at Download, a rock festival in Leicestershire, in 2023.
