Indiana (7-0, 0-0 Big Ten) is set to take on Iowa State (8-0, 0-0 Big 12) in the Coconut Hoops Championship on Sunday afternoon at Alico Arena in Fort Myers, Florida.

The Hoosiers are coming off a 76-72 win over Gonzaga on Friday. Shay Ciezki led Indiana in scoring with 24 points on 3/6 shooting from deep and 10-18 from the field. Five Hoosiers put up double figures as Indiana totaled 14 assists spread across the roster. Freshman Maya Makalusky shined late with a 3-pointer from the left wing and a putback in the final minute to keep Indiana in front.

The Cyclones opened the season on a tear with seven consecutive blowouts against overmatched competition. They dispatched Marquette 84-73 in the opening round on Friday morning. The frontcourt duo of Audi Crooks and Maddy Brown proved too much to handle for the Golden Eagles, with each scoring 18 points.

Here’s how to watch the game:

Predictions

Indiana was already going to have its hands full guarding Crooks, one of the very best post scorers the sport has seen in a long time. She has incredible size and strength on the block that few players around the country are capable of matching. If Brown plays like she did against Marquette, that’s even more of a problem.

The Cyclones made just eight of their 25 attempts from deep in Friday’s win. If they get hot from the perimeter, this one could be in danger of getting away from Indiana early. The Hoosiers need to run them off the 3-point line as much as possible while doing as good of a job guarding Crooks as they can for a shot in this one.
