In his most recent media presser, Browns OC Tommy Rees talked about Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson’s ability in Cleveland’s offense.
It’s no secret that the offense currently runs through Judkins and the ground game right now, with Dylan Sampson getting sprinkled in as both a ball carrier and pass catcher out of the backfield. Judkins is undoubtedly a more “ground and pound” player, while Sampson is more reliant upon speed and agility.

“There’s not a call on the call sheet where I would be worried if Q or Samp ran, let ’em both roll.”
It’s great to see the coaching staff be so confident in not only two different running backs, but two rookies in particular. It truly looks like Cleveland’s found its next long-term backfield pairing in the rookie duo from Ohio State and Tennessee.
The duo could have another productive outing against San Francisco this week, as the 49ers’ run defense has been lacking over the past few games in crucial situations.
