The Los Angeles Lakers will likely be in the mix for wing depth at the trade deadline this season, with a dynamic two-way wing now entering the conversation.

The Lakers have so far survived the early portion of the season in which LeBron James and Luka Doncic have missed time with injuries. Through the first 15 games of the season, the Lakers are 12-4 and second in the Western Conference. Given their chances of being title contenders this season, they should be in the mix for players such as Wiggins.
Wiggins was traded from the Golden State Warriors to the Miami Heat last season as part of the Jimmy Butler trade. The one-time All-Star and 2022 NBA champion is averaging 16.7 points and 4.9 rebounds per game this season. He's scored double figures in all but two games.
Wiggins was a key piece of the 2022 Warriors championship squad as arguably that team’s second-best player behind Stephen Curry. He was particularly great in the Western Conference Finals when he helped the Warriors slow down Doncic.
