A lot of different players got playing time. Alabama ran the football well. They also had multiple different quarterbacks get quality reps. Hopefully, the experience will serve them well as they head into the final game of the regular season.

Following are Roll Tide Wire's players of the week from Alabama's win over Eastern Illinois.
Offensive Player of the Week: Kevin Riley, Running Back
Kevin was dynamic Saturday in both the pass and the run. He rushed for 36 yards and two touchdowns with an average of 4.5 yards per carry. He also caught three passes for 37 yards. He is dynamic, but he also ran inside well Saturday. He can be a great complimentary back to Alabama's larger running backs. His stats may not have been astronomical Saturday, but that's because a lot of different players touched the football. Riley can be an integral part of Alabama's offense down the stretch. Look for Ryan Grubb to use him more frequently.

Jam was pounding the holes Saturday and looking explosive and twitchy. He led the Tide in rushing with 62 yards and one touchdown on 5.6 yards per attempt. Jam's ability to run between the tackles, but also go second and third level, makes him a premier back when healthy. He shows great burst and agility for a player his size. Jam is a physical freak who can take the load off Ty Simpson. Hopefully, he finishes the season strong.
Defensive Player of the Week: Bray Hubbard, Safety
Bray Hubbard was flying around making violent tackles Saturday. He recorded four tackles, one sack, 1.5 TFL, and one pass defense. Bray really fits the 4-2-5 swarm defense and has been very consistent every Saturday. He is fast, physical, and violent. He is a player that offensive coordinators, quarterbacks, and wide receivers have to account for. He causes turnovers and is very active in the defensive backfield. He is great downhill. He is one of the cornerstones of the Alabama defense.
