Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim confirmed the absence of three players who continue to recover from injury. Matheus Cunha was one surprise absence in the team’s loss to Everton at Old Trafford on Monday, but fans knew they would be without Harry Maguire and Benjamin Sesko.
Maguire, who has continued his good form in a back three this season and formed a good partnership with Matthijs De Ligt, left the 2-2 draw at Tottenham with an injury in the last 20 minutes of action, and has yet to return to full training since. Sesko also departed late in the Spurs match, and will likely continue to miss action in the coming weeks after tweaking his knee.

Harry, the same. I expect to have Matheus in the next one [West Ham United on Thursday], not this one.”
The Reds will face a Crystal Palace team with captain Marc Guehi returning to fitness. He played the full 90 minutes for the Eagles in their win against Wolverhampton Wanderers last week, and manager Oliver Glasner confirmed his availability for the match at Selhurst Park this weekend.
Borna Sosa, however, is unavailable for the matchup.
United hasn’t beaten the Eagles in London since Project Restart, and failed to score in either matchup against Glasner’s side last season. The Austrian manager also holds a big win over the Reds from two seasons ago, a 5-0 thumping against Erik ten Hag in his second season in charge.
