Another former Nittany Lion commit is off to Virginia Tech.
Pierce Petersohn is the third former Penn State commit to follow James Franklin to Blacksburg, Virginia.
Petersohn is a four-star tight end, ranked as the No. 325 player in the country, the No. 16 tight end in the country and the No. 2 player in Minnesota.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementPetersohn was a late commit, committing to Penn State on June 25. He received an offer from Virginia Tech on Nov. 18, before visiting on Nov. 22 for the first week of visits for the Hokies with Franklin in charge.
The Dodge Center, Minnesota, native is the fourth former Penn State commit to go elsewhere in the last two days.
He's the fourth total former Nittany Lion pledge to commit to Virginia Tech. He joins Messiah Mickens, Marlen Bright and Roseby Lubintus, joining Franklin in the burgundy and orange.
