What's the format for the Skins Game?

Remaining true to the traditional Skins Game, organizers say each hole carries a dollar value and tied holes will roll over, which can raise the stakes pretty quickly.

But, there's a twist: it's called a "reverse purse," in which each player starts with $1 million and that amount will go up or down based on whether a player wins or loses a hole.

"We’ve taken up the mantle to bring back The Skins Game," said Chad Mumm, co-founder and president of Pro Shop "and reclaim its rightful place on the sports calendar. By keeping the traditional format intact and adding some creative twists, we’re giving fans an experience that honors the past while delivering pure, high-stakes competition where the pressure builds with every shot."
