The Seattle Seahawks pulled out a 30-24 victory over the Tennessee Titans in Week 12. Superstar wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba was once again outstanding. Smith-Njigba essentially was the offense, recording eight receptions for 167 yards and two touchdowns.

JSN's first touchdown was a 63-yard bomb from Sam Darnold. The Seahawks brought Smith-Njigba in motion, confirming man coverage. The Titans made the mistake of aligning safety Amani Hooker on JSN. Predictably, the safety couldn't match Smith-Njigba's deep speed or ball tracking skills.

Smith-Njigba's second touchdown was a 13-yard strike in the red zone. A play-action concept targeted Smith-Njigba towards the back of the end zone. He created separation from overmatched cornerback Samuel Womack III, finding space.

Smith-Njigba had another deep 56-yard reception matched up against Titans rookie safety Kevin Winston Jr. The Titans made the mistake twice of aligning a safety against JSN. He made them pay both times. This was the drive that led to his 13-yard TD catch seen above.

Smith-Njigba already set the Seahawks single-season receiving yards record. His 1,313 yards leads all NFL receivers by a considerable margin. Smith-Njigba remains on track to possibly shatter Calvin Johnson's single-season all-time receiving record.
