While the raging green 'Savage Hulk' is the most famous version of Bruce Banner's alter-ego, there are several other versions of the Green Goliath. Now, perhaps the most powerful of all time is finally charging his way back into Marvel Comics - the cosmically empowered Blue Hulk.

THE INFERNAL HULK SHOWING MANY HULK HANDS TOUCHING HULK'S FACE
In the upcoming The Infernal Hulk #4, fans will witness the full chaos of Bruce Banner's Hulkscape - a metaphysical part of his mind that contains all the different versions of the Hulk, from the sinister Devil Hulk to the gangster Joe Fixit. Mike McKone's variant cover for the issue shows a gigantic blue mitt clutching at the Hulk's face - a hand that can only belong to one character.

INTO THE HULKSCAPE
As the Infernal Hulk's Age of Monsters rages across the globe, the INCREDIBLE Hulk is effectively dead, his consciousness locked away in the brutal depths of the Hulkscape. But Hulk discovers he's not alone... his previous alters are locked in with him, as well as the countless victims and vessels of ELDEST. Could one of the Hulks possess the key to taking back their stolen body? And could they have a way to communicate with their long-lost companion CHARLIE?
LEGACY #815
In 2005's Captain Universe: Incredible Hulk (Jay Faerber and Carlos Magno), Hulk was chosen as the latest host of the Enigma Force. Becoming the newest iteration of Captain Universe, Hulk gained flight, energy blasts, cosmic awareness and the ability to transform matter on the molecular level.

Hulk didn't hold onto the power for long, but while he did he was far stronger and had a direct line of communication to Bruce Banner, with the two able to talk thanks to a mental bridge created by the Enigma Force. Now, it seems the Blue Hulk will return as a player within the Hulkscape.
Blue Hulk's Return Is Awesome, But He's Not the Hulk We Most Want to See...

As much as fans want to see the return of the Blue Hulk and his staggering power, he's not the only Hulk fans are hoping returns in this issue. That title goes to Green Scar - the gladiator Hulk made iconic by the 'Planet Hulk' arc and the subsequent World War Hulk event.
A fair leader who found true love on the planet Sakaar, the Green Scar was a skilled fighter and tactician who managed to bind the warlike world together under his rule. However, when his queen Caiera the Oldstrong was killed, the Green Scar was consumed by rage and descended on Earth, stronger than ever before.

At the end of World War Hulk, Green Scar receded into the Hulkscape and hasn't been seen since, choosing to vanish from the world rather than live with his grief and rage (though he was briefly impersonated by the Leader.) Green Scar is buried so deep that even the other Hulks can't find him, and his return would be a historic moment.

In current comics, Bruce Banner's powers have been stolen by the villainous Infernal Hulk. If he's going to gather his strength to fight back, he needs to make contact with a version of the Hulk strong enough to compete, and the Blue Hulk and Green Scar are at the very top of that list, making it likely that fans are about to see their grand return.
The Infernal Hulk #4 is coming February 25, 2026, from Marvel Comics.
