2026 World Cup: Marquinhos is eager to see Neymar with Brazil

After Casemiro made his case a few weeks ago, it's now Marquinhos' turn to advocate for Neymar, hoping to see him at the 2026 World Cup.

In Brazil, Carlo Ancelotti's squad is under close scrutiny as the 2026 World Cup approaches. Considered among the tournament favorites, the Seleção boasts a promising roster. However, Neymar Jr. is not currently included. Having returned to Santos in hopes of earning a call-up, the former PSG star has yet to convince Ancelotti.

Speaking to RMC, PSG captain Marquinhos explained that he, too, is awaiting Neymar's return to the Brazil squad. "Always! He's a great friend, a real talent. It depends on many things—it depends on how he is, if he's doing well, if he's in shape, if physically he's found his rhythm again. I hope he gets back to his best. If he's back in form physically and feeling good, why not? I really hope he can return to top form and make it to the World Cup." the Parisian said.
