The Detroit Lions endured some of the worst possible injury luck early in their pivotal NFC North Thanksgiving matchup with the Green Bay Packers.
Around halfway through the first quarter, three-time Pro Bowler and two-time First-Team All-Pro Amon-Ra St. Brown was rolled up on after getting tackled by Packers defenders. The playmaker immediately left for the locker room, and at the time of publishing in the early third quarter, he had not yet returned to the game.

They need him in tip-top form to be the best version of themselves as an NFC heavyweight. Full stop. His injury also stacks on top of the likely loss of Pro Bowl tight end Sam LaPorta for the rest of the 2025 season.
Unfortunately, St. Brown has now officially been ruled out for the remainder of the Thanksgiving matchup. There is no updated word on the severity of St. Brown's injury:
At the time of his injury, St. Brown had 75 catches (on 107 targets) for 884 yards and nine touchdowns. He was second in the NFL in touchdown catches, fourth in the NFL in receiving yards, and sixth in receptions. Yeah, he's an elite player, dearest readers.
