Neymar is clearly willing to do whatever it takes to see his name on Brazil’s squad list for the 2026 World Cup. He has made a risky decision at Santos.

Reported to be sidelined until the end of 2025 due to a new injury, Neymar has decided to go against the doctors’ advice. According to Globo Esporte, the Brazilian superstar took part in his club’s training sessions on Wednesday and Thursday, even though he was supposed to be resting because of his injury.

Neymar is clearly determined to help his club stay in Serie A, with Santos currently sitting in 17th place—a relegation spot—with just three games left. Even though he was seen wearing a knee brace, the Brazilian star is obviously not immune to a misstep or a hit during the match. He, more than anyone, understands the risks he’s taking, including the possibility of missing the World Cup next summer.
