Franculino on the rise, but Serie A unlikely in January

Franculino Gluda Djú is a player on the rise and will have an opportunity against the Serie A leaders, Roma, in the Europa League on Thursday evening, but a move away from Midtjylland in January appears unlikely for now, Football Italia expert Alfredo Pedullà explains.

The 21-year-old striker is posting exceptional numbers this term, approaching the 20-goal mark already while putting in consistently impressive performances.

The Danish side are unwilling to let the emerging striker leave in January, as they consider him a potential €45m-€50m asset in the future. Money alone will not be enough to convince Midtjylland into selling this winter.

In the meantime, Franculino is still one to keep an eye on. Several clubs are following him, including those in Serie A who are in need of a new striker.

The future is yet to be written, but one thing is for certain: Franculino is a player on the rise.
