The 2026 NFL Draft will take place in Pittsburgh next April, a city where the Bucs found success this preseason with a last-second field goal to defeat the Steelers. Before next April, though, there will be plenty of speculation and buildup for the team and who they may add to the roster through the draft.

CBS Sports' Blake Brockermeyer recently released the latest 2026 NFL mock draft of the cycle. Within it, the Bucs were attached to a new defender compared to recent mock drafts: defensive lineman. They end up with Oregon's A'Mauri Washington who is a powerhouse in the middle of the Duck's defense. .

Brockermeyer explains the pick, writing, "Washington is a dominant run stuffer who can reset the line of scrimmage and shows lateral quickness on stunts. He brings excellent power as a rusher and has upside."

The Bucs have some strong pieces on their defensive line, but depth remains an issue. Having a third player in the mix with Vita Vea and Calijah Kancey would do wonders for their unit up front.
