It was back to winning ways for Celtic FC Women on Sunday afternoon, as they overcame Partick Thistle in the final game before the international break.

First-half goals from Amy Gallacher and Maria McAneny were enough to seal all three points for the Ghirls at New Douglas Park.

Ultimately, the most important thing was getting back on the winning trail, and the Ghirls did exactly that on Sunday.

The victory saw the Hoops take away all three points, and also marked Elena Sadiku’s 50th win in charge.
