Lamar Jackson has missed the first day of practice each of the last three weeks.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementIt hasn't been the same injury listed for the Baltimore Ravens' superstar quarterback, either. First it was knee, then ankle and now toe.
This all comes after he missed three games earlier in the season with a hamstring problem.
Something definitely seems a little bit off here.
This is what ESPN's Dan Graziano shared about the situation in a new report on Wednesday:
"Scouts who've watched Jackson say he looks like he's playing through discomfort -- reluctant to run in key spots and out of rhythm with his throws... It's likely the team will be managing him through practice weeks with additional rest for the remainder of the season."

That's certainly not ideal.
Jackson has managed the pain well enough of late, as the Ravens have won five in a row (four with Jackson) to improve to 6-5 and move into a tie for first in the AFC North.
Baltimore plays on Thanksgiving night against the Cincinnati Bengals, who are expected to have Joe Burrow back at QB.

For the Ravens to keep winning, they'll need Jackson at his best.
He should benefit from the mini-bye after playing on Thursday and getting about 10 days until the next game, but it sounds like some of this pain may not be going away.
