The Zootopia 2 cast includes several voice actors returning to the characters they portrayed in the first movie, as well as new characters joining the story. The first Zootopia movie followed Judy Hopps, the first-ever bunny assigned to the Zootopia Police Department. Once there, she finds corruption and bias at every level.

Of course, Zootopia 2 is a Disney animated movie, so it is both family-friendly and has a strong message of acceptance and what it means to fit in, no matter who you are. The new movie sees former conman Nick Wilde now Judy's partner, as they team up again when a snake arrives in Zootopia, sending the citizens into an uproar.

Tommy Chong as Yax: Tommy Chong is back as Yax, the domestic yak who works at the nudist colony, also returns for Zootopia 2. Chong is best known for his part of the comedy duo Cheech & Chong, as well as a memorable recurring character on That '70s Show.

Tommy Lister, Jr. as Finnick: Finnick, the fennec fox who helped Nick in his old scams, is back. Voice actor Tiny Lister passed away in 2020, but Lister's family allowed Disney to repurpose unused recordings from the first movie for the sequel so he could return to the Zootopia 2 cast.
