Denver Broncos outside linebacker Nik Bonitto is set to play against one of his childhood heroes on Sunday Night Football this week.
Earlier this season, after a practice in London ahead of a win over the New York Jets in October, Bonitto told reporters that he didn't really have an NFL team growing up, but he watched Von Miller frequently.

"He has like three sacks, an interception, and I'm just going crazy. I'm like, 'Von's the GOAT.' There's so many special moments he had in his career that I remember watching as a young kid, and I kind of was an honorary Bronco fan (because of him)."
Miller's 110.5 sacks in Denver rank first in franchise history, and his 134.5 career sacks rank 13th in NFL history. He now plays for the Washington Commanders, who are set to host the Broncos on SNF in Week 13 (Nov. 30).
Bonitto's 32.5 sacks rank 15th in franchise history, and he's 11 sacks away from cracking the top ten. After signing a four-year contract extension, Bonitto is signed with Denver through the 2029 season. He's 78 sacks away from Miller's record.
