I'm TechRadar's dash cam editor, which means I've done plenty of in-depth product reviews, explainers and yes, you guessed it – covered every Black Friday and Prime Day sale event over the last three years. Put simply, I know which are today's best dash cams based on real testing and what are the best deals, given I track dash cam prices. I guarantee the Black Friday deals below are the best prices today from trustworthy retailers.
This year, price cuts on Garmin's entire range stand out, such as the Dash Cam Mini 3 for $99.97 at Amazon in the US (was $149.99) or for just £99.99 at Halfords in the UK (was £129.99). If you need something a little beefier, how about Vantrue's Nexus S5 for $279.99 at Amazon (was $419.99) – that's a four camera setup! In the UK the Vantrue Nexus S5 is £258.39 at Amazon (was £339.99).
If you need more buying advice, do check out my best dash cams guide which is packed with helpful articles – such as how to install a dash cam – and includes other options for different user needs. Trust me, you won't find more comprehensive dash cam content elsewhere.

Garmin Dash Cam Mini 3: was US$149.99 now US$99.97 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼The previous low price for the Dash Cam Mini 3 was $120, so this is an unbeatable deal for Garmin's current budget model, which can discreetly tuck behind your rearview mirror thanks to its tiny proportions. It's only a tiny upgrade of the Mini 2, however, so it could also be worth checking for the older model to see if there are even better deals to be had. Unlikely, but you never know.

Miofive S1 Ultra: was US$129.59 now US$98.48 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼I rank the Miofive S1 series as one of the best dash cams for a double-digit price (it's in my best dash cams guide), and it's now available in a variety of bundles at Amazon for less, making it even better value. Take the Miofive S1 Ultra, which is the dual 4K camera bundle – which has lowered considerably in price since last year's Black Friday where the best price was closer to $140. This tiny dash cam features built-in GPS and speedy video transfer with 5GHz Wi-Fi. Sadly video frame rates are limited to 30fps whatever resolution you shoot at, but for the money you'll struggle to find better 4K video quality from both front and rear cameras for both day and night footage, or a more reliable dash cam setup. Note the single camera S1 version below, which of course costs less.

Miofive S1 dash cam: was US$69.99 now US$59.49 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼Don't need front and rear views covered, like in the Miofive S1 Ultra? Try the Miofive S1 single channel option instead, which features the same front camera with crisp 4K video in day at night, built-in GPS and speedy video transfer with 5GHz Wi-Fi. You'll struggle to find a better or more reliable dash cam for such a low price.

Garmin Dash Cam X310: was US$399.99 now US$349.97 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼$50 off Garmin's flagship Dash Cam X310 is the best deal for six months (during which time the price briefly sank to $310), and it's the best price today for a 4K-shooting dash cam that usually sticks to its full price. We gave this stellar dash cam 5 out of 5 in our X310 review.

Vantrue Nexus 5S: was US$419.99 now US$279.99 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼We only reviewed the Nexus 5S last month, but there's already a sizeable 33% off for Black Friday – the first price cuts on this impressive 4 camera setup with front 4K camera. Each of the two camera units feature inward and outward facing cameras, providing users with complete coverage. It scored an impressive 4 stars in our full review.

Garmin DriveCam 76: was US$449.99 now US$364.99 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼It's a little old now, but the Garmin DriveCam 76 remains a top choice in my best dash cams guide for drivers of older vehicles without an infotainment system. It's packs a large 7-inch display, built-in GPS, voice assistant and bluetooth connectivity, and advanced safety alerts such as speed camera and traffic notifications. There's now 20% off.

70mai Dash Cam 4K Omni: was US$339.99 now US$259.99 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼My top pick with 360-degree coverage – the neat Omni 4K can rotate 360-degrees to switch between front and cabin views. This is the second iteration, upgrading the original Omni with higher resolution 4K 60p video. The bundle includes an additonal rear camera and memory card, while there are further bundles available via the same link, such as one with a hardwire kit.

Viofo A229 Pro 4K: was US$348.99 now US$219.99 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼Available for $20 less than its previous low price, the Viofo A229 Pro 4K Dash Cam the offers reassurance of both front (4K) and rear (2K) camera coverage, delivering excellent video quality both night. In our A229 Pro review, we also praised its ease of use and ease of setup, being especially suited to small cars and confined cockpit areas with its slim form factor. We thought it was worth the high asking price when it launched in 2023, and now there's a huge price cut it feels particularly tempting. Note that the A329 has since been launched, which sits in top spot of my best dash cams guide, but costs a lot more, now $373.99 at Amazon (was $439.99)

Nextbase Piqo (1K): was £99.99 now £54.99 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼The Netbase Piqo is a much smaller and simplified version of the pricier Nextbase iQ smart dash cam, with cleverly implemented 'light' versions of the iQ's smart features. Right now, for just £54.99 you bag the 1K version of the camera. For most drivers, the Piqo will be plenty enough and it's a fraction of the price of the iQ.

Garmin Dash Cam X110: was £199.99 now £141.99 at AmazonRead moreRead less▼It looks identical to the X310 and X210 and that's because on the outside it is. As well as sharing the same design, they all feature built-in GPS and advanced driver alerts – warning you about upcoming speed cameras or risk of a forward collision. The X110 is the entry-level model with of course the lowest price tag and lowest resolution video – it shoots at 1080p video.
