The boys and girls soccer season in the Gainesville-area is officially here!

On the boys side, Santa Fe was the best team in the area last season, but the Raiders lost a couple of key pieces from last season's team. Two years ago, Buchholz and Bell completed surprising seasons, but the Bobcats and Bulldogs fell off last season. Can they regain their perch?

On the girls side, the sport has been dominated by the Blue Wave of P.K. Yonge. But coach Rebecca Schackow's bunch lost nine seniors — including program icon Faith Hardy. PKY is off to a good start so far this season. Will the squad keep it up?
