This event is a huge opportunity for the Tar Heels to solidify their stance as one of the better teams in the country. The Bonnies have been a solid team so far this season that hasn’t lost a game, and on Thanksgiving the Heels will face Michigan State, who has also looked really good so far.
One of the bigger storylines in this game is how Hubert Davis will utilize his bench throughout 40 minutes of action. Now that they are participating in a Feast Week event, he will have to tighten things up if this group wants to win the game. Caleb Wilson will have to do his part and try to stay out of foul trouble, but if he or Henri Veesaar end up in that position, one of the bench bigs will have to step up. We also will have to see Derek Dixon and Jonathan Powell at some point, so their contributions will be important in helping them earn a win.
