The Pittsburgh Steelers have a mid-season positional battle on their hands — who will replace the injured Broderick Jones in Week 13 against the Buffalo Bills — and Mike Tomlin revealed two offensive tackles that will compete for the role on Sunday.

After ruling out Jones with a neck injury on Tuesday, Tomlin shared that offensive linemen Calvin Anderson and Andrus Peat will both take practice reps at left tackle this week — an exciting inter-practice storyline to keep an eye on.

Selected with the 251st pick in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft, Anderson has quietly emerged as one of Pittsburgh's top backup offensive linemen, providing depth at tackle and guard for the Steelers.

Out of the two Steelers, however, Peat has the most experience by far — making 104 starts on the offensive line compared to Anderson's seven.

It remains to be seen which offensive lineman gets the starting nod in Week 13, but either player will be a capable substitute in Jones' absence.
