Needless to say, you don't have to look far.

Sampson compared the Orange star to his father, Carmelo, saying, “He’s a lot like his dad. That boy can score that ball. He’s good.” The simple statement speaks volumes. By drawing that parallel, Sampson is not just complimenting Kiyan’s scoring ability, but acknowledging a legacy in the making.

Anthony, whose own scoring and impact in the NBA earned him a spot in Springfield, Mass., should feel proud watching his son's rise at his alma mater. However, to be recognized as “a lot like his dad” sets a high bar, and Sampson predicts Kiyan’s potential to fulfill a similar role.

Don't be surprised if he's a go-to offensive player and someone with the confidence and same skill set to be a difference-maker in the NBA.

Kiyan has raw talent, but the ability to convert and make plays under pressure will be key in his progression. During Monday's matchup with Houston, he chipped in 10 points in 24 minutes. For the season, Anthony has averaged 13.8 points with 2.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists.
