Bayern Munich will hold contract renewal talks with star striker Harry Kane early next year while the England captain dismissed speculation he was in contact with other clubs amid Barcelona speculation.

"We have a clear road map with Harry, we said that we will sit down together at the beginning of the year," Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl said on Tuesday before the team's departure for London and a Champions League table topper at Arsenal.

"I think that Harry shows in every match how good he feels, how good his family feels in Munich. I believe he is in the form of his life."

Kane, 32, came to Bayern in 2023 for around €100 million ($115 million) on a contract until 2027. He won the Bundesliga title with them last year and was league top scorer in both previous seasons.

Kane tops the Bundesliga scorers' charts again this term and has scored 109 goals in 114 Bayern matches overall, and Eberl said he deserved to "play a role" at the upcoming FIFA Best awards.

Kane reportedly has a €65 million release clause in his contract for the summer of 2026.

He told Tuesday's Bild paper he hasn't been in contact with anybody, amid rumours he could succeed Robert Lewandowski, also formerly of Bayern, at Spanish champions Barca.

"I feel very good at the moment even though we haven't talked with Bayern yet about my situation," he said.

"There is no rush. I am really happy in Munich. You can see it in the way I am playing. We will see when there is contact. But I am not thinking about the new season yet."

Bayern president Herbert Hainer does not believe Kane could leave next summer.

"I firmly believe that he really likes it in Munich and is happy. We will talk. He will make it dependent on his plans for the future. But I am convinced Bayern have a very, very good chance," Hainer told Bild.
