Before the Golden State Warriors tipped off against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night, a former member of the team made their debut for the Atlanta Hawks. For the first time since being moved at the NBA trade deadline, Jonathan Kuminga suited up on his new black, red and yellow No. 0 jersey with his new team, the Hawks.
After missing time with a bone bruise in his left knee, Kuminga checked into Tuesday night's contest against the Washington Wizards and wasted little time putting on a show. In the first quarter, Kuminga tallied seven points on 3-of-4 shooting from the field with four assists and two rebounds in only six minutes. As the Hawks took an early 15-point lead over the Wizards, Kuminga finished the first quarter with a +13.
