HOWLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – Howland held off Poland 59-54 in a thriller in the regular season finale on Friday night.
The game was televised live as the WKBN High School Basketball Game of the Week.
With the win, Howland has now won four straight head-to-head meetings in the series.

Steve Bubon also reached double-figures with 11 points.
Poland’s Carmine Tukalo led all scorers with 20 points in the setback. Nick Nittoli finished with 13 points for the Bulldogs.
With the win, Howland improves to 13-9 on the season. The Tigers open tournament play on Friday, Feb. 27, at Painesville Harvey in the Division 3 Sectional Final.
Poland drops to 16-6 overall on the campaign. The Bulldogs open tournament play on Saturday, Feb. 28, against Northeast 8-rival Girard.
