Michigan football didn't take long to find its new general manager.
The Wolverines are finalizing a deal with current Athletes First GM and former Notre Dame director of player personnel Dave Peloquin, according to a report from On3's Pete Nakos.

Most recently, he moved to the other side of the ledger in the world of Name, Image and Likeness,, serving as general manager of Athletes First, a sports agency that began in 2001 and specializes in the representation of NFL players, coaches, and broadcasters.
Peloquin has some connections to a few individuals on staff, including running backs coach Tony Alford, who spent six years at Notre Dame (2009-14) and new defensive tackles coach Larry Black, who was a graduate assistant in South Bend in 2018.

Michigan moved on from former GM Sean Magee earlier this week, who had been in the role since 2024 and was previously on staff under Jim Harbaugh for five years (2017-21). U-M also separated from the three others who worked closely with Magee in the recruiting and personnel department: director of player personnel Albert Karschnia, director of on campus recruiting Kayli Johnson and the director of recruiting Sam Popper.
