The Wyatt Teller era in Cleveland appears to be officially over.

The veteran right guard, a pending free agent, took to Instagram to post a heartfelt goodbye letter to the city and the organization, signaling that he will not be returning to the Browns for the 2026 season.

In a moving tribute to the place he has called home for the last seven years, Teller reflected on the trade that brought him from the Buffalo Bills to Northeast Ohio in August 2019.

"Cleveland, I wish things were different and this is hard to put into words," Teller wrote. "Ultimately, the Browns took a chance on me that changed the trajectory of my life forever."

Teller’s tenure in Cleveland was marked by dominant play on the field and significant milestones off of it. He became a fan favorite for his aggressive blocking style, and his genuine connection to the community. In his letter, he highlighted just how deep those roots grew. He had proposed to his wife, Carly, on the 50-yard line at what was then FirstEnergy Stadium and raised their two young children in the city.

"To the most loyal fans in the NFL, I hope y'all know that you have made a mark on my family's life forever," he added.

Acquired for just fifth and sixth-round picks in 2019, Teller blossomed into a stalwart on the offensive line. He earned a lucrative four-year, $56.8 million extension in the November of 2021, anchoring a unit that experienced the highs of playoff berths and the recent lows of losing seasons.

Now, the 31-year-old heads into free agency looking for a fresh start. Despite the team's recent struggles, Teller remains a valued asset in the trenches, with Spotrac estimating his market value at $10.2 million per year.

Teller signed off his message “With love and pancakes, Wyatt Teller #77."
