Ja Morant will be reevaluated in two weeks due to a left elbow UCL sprain, the Memphis Grizzlies announced on Feb. 18.

Morant last played on Jan. 21 against the Atlanta Hawks. He scored 23 points and 12 assists in that matchup.

Injuries have plagued Morant throughout the 2025-26 season. He has played in 20 of 53 games this season.

Morant is averaging 19.5 points and 8.1 assists this season.

The two-time All-Star has been the topic of trade talks since reports surfaced on Jan. 9 that the Grizzlies would listen to offers. Morant was not traded at the deadline, but the Grizzlies are moving in a direction where they are prioritizing the development of young players.

Memphis returned to practice on Feb. 18 after the All-Star break. Morant was not seen during the media viewing portion of practice.

Wing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who was also not seen during the media viewing portion of practice, will undergo a surgical procedure to address a misalignment of his right pinky finger. The team will provide a timeline of his status following the procedure.
