The club also schedules regular visits to Asia where a huge contingent of their fanbase is from, and they’re coming back again.
According to a report from Sport Bild’s Christian Falk (as captured by X account @iMiaSanMia), Bayern will be heading to Asia this summer for a preseason tour. The club is currently in talks to hold a friendly in Hong Kong. The second destination will either be South Korea or Thailand. Perhaps a rare third location is on the cards? We never know
I’ve seen Bayern come agonizingly close to my place (not my place per se, but you get what I mean). They’ve stopped at Seoul last time (where Bayern played against Tottenham Hotspur), and I was inches away from visiting one of their offices in China when I went there eight years ago. Honestly, at this point I’m begging for them to come here, because (to quote Erling Haaland) why not?
