Game Summary:

The Saturday / Monday schedule showed in the first half. NC State looked slow and were already down 10 at the first official timeout. The Wolfpack was 2-8 and Louisville was 6-7. By the second timeout (11:55), the Wolfpack had cut the lead to 7 but Louisville was dominating rebounds 10-4 and neither Williams nor McNeil had scored. Louisville pushed the lead to 15 with 5 minutes left and Coach Wade called a timeout to stop the run. It didn’t help; halftime score 36-56. The Pack was out rebounded 24-11, the Cardinals shot 73% (8-11) from 3PT.

The second half didn’t improve at all. NC State scored a little more, 41 points in the second, but Louisville scored an unbelievable 62. This one could not end soon enough. ESPN agreed and cut away early. Final 77-118.
