New England Patriots captain Robert Spillane took issue with Tom Brady’s comments earlier this week, when asked to share his opinion on the Super Bowl LX matchup between his former team and the Seattle Seahawks.

When appearing on the Let’s Go! podcast, Brady did not side with the Patriots or the Seahawks. Instead, he decided to remain neutral by claiming he didn't "have a dog in the fight." Those words didn't go over well with the Patriots' fan base, along with past and current players. Spillane had strong words when asked to share his opinion on the matter.

"Personally makes me sick," Spillane said in a response, via MassLive's Karen Guregian.

It's safe to say many Patriots fans feel the same way as Spillane.

The Patriots built a 12-foot statue in Brady's honor at Gillette Stadium and inducted him into the team's Hall of Fame. Brady led the team to six Super Bowl titles and played there for nearly 20 years. It isn't surprising that some weren't fans of his comment.
