Bryce Mitchell made a successful return to bantamweight the last time he stepped inside of the Octagon, but as it stands right now “Thug Nasty” doesn’t know if the promotion is going to give him another fight.

As you may know, Mitchell has grown to be one of the most (if not the most) outspoken and controversial fighters on the UFC roster today. From supportive comments about Adolf Hitler to claims that President Trump is the actual Antichrist, Mitchell has discussed some pretty odd topics over the years. The UFC veteran claims this may be due to his “cursed intelligence,” but it’s only making him harder to promote from a UFC standpoint.

While Mitchell earned a decision win over Said Nurmagomedov in his official drop back down to 135 pounds last year he’s not convinced UFC matchmakers will give him another fight. “Thug Nasty” would love the opportunity to compete again, but it sounds like nothing has been offered. Keep in mind, Mitchell hasn’t fought since July 2025 and came out of that fight relatively unscathed.

If UFC doesn’t end up giving Mitchell another fight —which they should if he’s still under contract — then “Thug Nasty” plans to do “blue collar” work for the rest of his life. In other words, Mitchell will only compete for UFC.

Check it out below:

“I just want another fight, who knows they might not give me another fight. I don’t know what’s going to happen,” said Mitchell during a recent appearance on the Red Hawk Podcast. “If they don’t give me a fight I’ll just do blue collar work the rest of my life. I’ve built up my farm. I can live off the land.”
