Play #5: Pittsburg State’s Jackson Berry & Kuron Parchmon (28-yard touchdown connection) —
In the NCAA Division-II Playoffs opener, Pittsburg State QB Jackson Berry delivered a well-placed ball in the corner of the end zone, where Kuron Parchmon hauled it in for what turned out to be the game-winning touchdown late in the fourth quarter.

Taking on the Archie Whirlwinds in the Missouri 8-man State Quarterfinals, Lockwood’s Sean Contreras made a spectacular play in the first half, intercepting an Archie pass before weaving through an abundance of traffic for a defensive touchdown.
Play #3: Seneca’s Roman Miller (Stuff-arms defender en route to rushing TD) —
Seneca’s Roman Miller is a name we’ve called a lot in 2025, and he had yet another big performance in the state quarterfinals. Miller got the ball on an option, stiff-arming a defender with authority before breaking away down the sideline for a lengthy rushing touchdown.

Labette County Football scored just one touchdown in the program’s first-ever Kansas State Semifinals appearance, but it was certainly one to remember. Deontae Fields hauled in the kickoff off a bounce before turning on the jets, bursting through a line of Bishop Miege defenders on his way to the end zone from over 70 yards out.
Play #1: Pittsburg State’s TyJuan Atkins Jr. (99-yard kick-return touchdown of opening kickoff of NCAA D-II Playoffs) —
TyJuan Atkins Jr. had Carnie Smith Stadium rocking just seconds in to Pittsburg State’s playoff opener against Chadron State. On the opening kickoff of the game, Atkins Jr. showcased track & field speed, bursting past the Eagles’ special teams unit from 99 yards out to put the Gorillas up by one score just 12 seconds into the game.
