Jake Paul might have bitten off more than he can chew, and he may have to pay the price with his life. This is what the two-time undisputed heavyweight boxing champion, Oleksandr Usyk, feels about The Problem Child’s upcoming fight against Anthony Joshua. Despite considering Paul as a “sportsman,” The Cat viewed AJ as a far more potent boxer. He feels Joshua could subject the YouTuber-turned-boxer to a grim fate on December 19.
Oleksandr Usyk issues warning to Jake Paul
The fight against Joshua at the Kaseya Center in Miami is set to be Paul’s first in-ring encounter since his showdown against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on June 25. While The Problem Child bagged a victory in it, Usyk predicted a devastating defeat for him in his upcoming fight against Joshua during his recent interview with Boxing Scene. The Cat said that Joshua is capable of “killing” Paul inside the ring (via Mirror).

The reigning undisputed heavyweight champion also highlighted the difference in Paul and Joshua’s boxing calibers with a car reference. He rated Paul a “Fiat,” while labeling Joshua a “Rolls-Royce.” However, Usyk specified that he would “pray” for Paul to survive Joshua’s potential onslaught inside the ring on December 19.
“Joshua is Rolls-Royce, Jake is a Fiat. Listen, it’s true. It’s just true,” stated the Ukrainian. “Yes, I will pray [for] Jake Paul. Because I want to fight with Jake Paul in the octagon.”
Jake Paul uploaded a YouTube video about the fight on his channel two weeks ago. He named it, “My Most Dangerous Fight”, revealing that he realizes how big a challenge is awaiting him.

While he managed to get his hand raised on both occasions, the same task is expected to be significantly harder for Paul. This is because of Joshua’s physical advantage over the latter. Now, only time will tell if Paul can avoid a defeat or getting “killed” by Joshua inside the ring, as Usyk predicted.
