On a night when Milwaukee Bucks coach could have been talking about how the Milwaukee Bucks could begin to takeoff on a possible winning streak with a much-needed victory against the 17-4 Detroit Pistons, he instead again had to respond to the turbulence created by national reports that Giannis Antetokounmpo. wanted to discuss his future in Milwaukee.
And after shooting down Giannis trade rumors again, Rivers and the Bucks had to deal with yet another left of center turn of events when Antetokounmpo somewhat shockingly went down with a right calf injury early in the first quarter without any contact, Dec. 3.

Some feared Giannis had suffered an Achilles injury, but that panic eased when it was reported by the Bucks that it was a calf strain. He missed four games last month with a left-adductor strain before returning to action Nov. 29.
But without Giannis, the Bucks rallied for possibly their best victory of the season, a 113-109 decision over the first-place Pistons.
