The LSU Tigers Men's Basketball team survived its biggest test of the season as they beat the Boston College Eagles in overtime by a score of 78-69. The Tigers now move to 8-0 on the season and win the first game of the ACC/SEC challenge.
It was the weakest showing of the season so far for LSU, but they clutched up when it mattered most.

Dedan Thomas Jr. led the team in scoring with 23 points, adding four boards and seven assists. Thomas is normally more efficient from the field, but it's good to see him at least get aggressive when things are fully working for the team.
Marquel Sutton had his second-best game since coming to LSU. He had 18 points and 13 rebounds. If he can become a guy who regularly grabs double-doubles, the front-court duo of him and Mike Nwoko could be fantastic.
The Tigers dominated in the paint, outscoring Boston College 40-22, which will come in handy on nights like this one, where they couldn't buy a three.
