The Cincinnati Bengals need to take care of business down the stretch and hope for some help elsewhere in the AFC playoff race to have a chance at the postseason.
In the interim, outside projections deeming the task possible at all don’t hurt, right?

Add on Bleacher Report’s Brad Gagnon, too:
“Something is extremely off with the Ravens, who had major flaws even before Lamar Jackson's injury derailed their season. If they can't beat the shorthanded and short-rested Bengals at home in prime time, I'm not giving them road wins in Cincinnati, Green Bay or even Pittsburgh between now and Week 18.”

In these projections, Gagnon has the Bengals finishing at 8-9, with the Ravens at 8-9 and the Steelers at 7-10.

That winning out would require beating the Buffalo Bills this weekend, then overcoming the Ravens again one week later.
Given how strong Burrow and Co. have finished seasons in the past, plus with how the rest of the AFC North looks, it’s no wonder more and more of these projections have started to go live.
