Indiana men’s basketball suffered its first defeat of the Darian DeVries era on Wednesday night and it was a bad one. The Hoosiers fell 73-64 on the road to Minnesota, which entered the game all the way down at 116th in KenPom’s overall efficiency rankings.
The Hoosiers were able to keep pace through much of the first half and had built up a substantial lead before a handful of mistakes and good plays from the Gophers helped the latter claw back into the game and tie it going into the half.
