The Wisconsin Badgers are taking on the Northwestern Wildcats to kick off Big Ten play on Wednesday. Tip-off is set for 8:00 p.m. at the Kohl Center.

The Badgers had an eventful Thanksgiving, heading over to San Diego to play in the Rady Children’s Invitational. They reached the championship game by beating the Providence Friars 104-83, but fell in the finals to the TCU Horned Frogs.

With the loss, Wisconsin dropped to 5-2 on the year and remained out of the AP Top 25 after dropping out last week.

They’ve got two home games this week, kicking off Big Ten play against Northwestern before the I-94 rivalry game at the Kohl Center against Marquette on Saturday.

The Wildcats are led by forward Nick Martinelli once again, who is right back among the Big Ten leaders in scoring.

Transfer Arrington Page has been an early hit, scoring 15 points a game, while being a quality rebounder as well.

Northwestern has also gone 5-2 with losses to Virginia and Oklahoma State so far.

The Big Ten is always a very close race, so getting an early head start in the standings would be nice for the Badgers on Wednesday. Join us as our game thread is officially open!
